The details of competition:
Please note that the reports on invalid numbers must include a clear picture about the product and its barcode on it! Only reports with clear recognizable pictures will be accepted and taken into account! We recommend to your attention the attached paper describing a ‘How to make report’.
We will announce the winner at the upcoming Regional Forum 2013 to be held in Rotterdam on 14-18 October! Besides the one who caught the most invalid numbers there will be an iPad mini prize for our colleague who scanned the most GTIN numbers and another one for the GS1 Member Organization that altogether scanned the most barcodes until 1 October. So don’t be lazy it’s worth to verify GTINs!
Please note that we’ll exclude those invalid GTINs from the competition which are due to the not up-to-date lists of GS1 GCPs provided by MOs hosted by the GS1 GO GEPIR server or to any other malfunctioning of the local GEPIR nodes. Reported invalid numbers without attached pictures will be excluded as well!
In the course of the game GS1 HU only takes into consideration those GTINs which are discovered during the game. Repeated reports of GTINs which were entered into and registered in the report database of GS1 Logger for Staff before 1st July 2013 shall be excluded from the game.
So with that…ready….steady…scan!
